Mobile Dev Update! New Bosses and more!
Hey friends! Nathan here.
I have been continuing to work on RogueSlide for mobile and it is so much fun! I am not so good about writing these updates and posting stuff to twitter or anything so I need to get better about that. Up until recently though all my work has been to remake what already existing in RogueSlide (built by Alex Morris in libGDX) in Godot.
Recently I completed all the original enemies that we had in the original game and I am starting to add more!
My desire with this release to make RogueSlide get a higher replay value. So I will be adding more systems to get more of those wonderful rogue-like elements into the game!
First thing I have been working on is a new boss system that will spawn 1 of 2 bosses at the end of each biome. Here is a sneak peak at those bosses:
Toxic Toad - Leaves behind and acid trap that deals damage and stops tiles in its position.
Goblin Shaman and Goblin Mother - These two spawn together. The Goblin Shaman heals all goblin tiles +1hp each turn and the Goblin Mother spawns a Goblin tile each turn
